Wedding Chair Covers Are Essential For Any Wedding

By Darren Ackers

A few years ago the choice for Wedding Chair Covers was very scarce, however now there are a number of companies hiring wedding chair covers for weddings.

Wedding Chair Covers are available in a wide range of sizes and fabrics which they are made from. In our opinion the best fabric to use is a polyester twill which is a thick woven material, this will hide the chairs and stop the chairs shining through when the light hits them. If you can see the chair through the chair cover then there's no point spending the money hiring chair covers.

The colours vary, if you go for a bright white Chair Cover you should find it easier to tie in other colours within your wedding theme. Typically a polyester white chair cover will look cleaner and fresher since polyester is less likely to crease than cotton and can be cleaned at a high temperature.

Depending on your colour theme, chair covers are available in a range of colours. The most popular colour being white with a coloured organza sash. Depending on the chair size and style to be dressed, they come in a range of shapes and sizes. Not every banquet chair is the same size, even if they look the same. For example the same style chair made in China could be a different size to the same chair made in America.

The next item to select is the sash or bow to tie around the chair. Again sashes come in a variety of sizes, colours and materials. The most popular being organza, organza sashes with finished beaded edges compliment chair covers very well. There are of course other materials used to make sashes such as satin, silk and cotton.

If you choose to hire wedding chair covers for your wedding day, always, always obtain a sample of the chair cover and sash. You need to see the colour of the sash and more importantly the quality of the chair cover. When you receive the sample take it down to the venue and try it for size on the chairs. The last thing you want on your big day is the chair covers arriving and not fitting the chairs.
