That's why to make sure your health will never be at risk, initiate practicing some preventive steps.

Become familiar with what drives away these household pests and know how to apply it.

There grounds why ants have been marked as one of the most pesky insects. It is because they come in huge colonies plus they are everywhere. No idea how to tackle them? Primarily, see if you can find where they enter in your home. Once you know the exact area, it is time to block them off with citrus oil, coffee grounds, or cayenne pepper scattered over the area as ants cannot go through these items. Other products that have been known to effectively take away ants out of your home are garlic cloves, cucumber peels and spearmint leaves.

Now you can start focusing outdoors, wall the ant hill with some cornmeal especially in the entrance. These will be taken in and distributed among the whole colony. Little do they know that by eating it up, indigestion would kill them within a week.

The unpleasantness of cockroaches roving around your home is enough to make you want to do anything just to get them out of your sight. And as you know, there are natural pest control ideas suitable to them as well! To ward them off, put catnip in the areas cockroaches might often dwell. But if they are already inside your house, put a container these cockroaches would easily find with a slice of bread drenched in beer. Beer acts like cornmeal for ants, it would kill them because they cannot digest it, too!

Stagnant water is the favorite breeding ground of mosquitoes. So the primary measure is to free your yard with all standing water - the habitat of mosquitoes. If you are staying outdoors, put on a solution mixed with at least thirty percent eucalyptus. This works like any mosquito repellant stores offer commercially. Plants with natural deterrent quality such as rosemary, marigold and sage in the yard keep the mosquitoes away.
